Saw Tim Key in the foyer of the Filmhouse last night
He was there for a Q&A
Although why he had joined the queue at the ticket desk wasn’t clear
Told him I loved The Ballad of Wallis Island, this was my third viewing
He hoped I would enjoy it again
I said I’d seen his show Loganberry
And had been through to Glasgow for the launch of his book L.A. Baby!
Perhaps, I blurted, I was a fan?
It’s happening, Key said
In retrospect ie one minute later
I must have appeared to him
Like his character, Charles in Wallis Island
Obsessed
But essentially harmless
